The Invitation

This is not a holiday

There is a work of gathering to be done, and it does not happen over a screen.

Something is stirring. People are waking up to who they are, to a lineage and an inheritance that was buried, and to a Father who has never stopped calling His children home. But the scattered do not gather themselves. Someone has to make the fire, set the table and send out the call.

This is that call. Four days in the Scottish Highlands: not a spa week, not an escape from life, but a deliberate gathering of families who are ready to be restored, taught, strengthened and sent back out with something they did not arrive with.

You will not be a guest at a wellness event. You will be family at a homecoming.

The Land

Where we will be

A house taken over entirely for us, on ground that carries the story. No hotel corridors, no strangers at breakfast.

Atlantic shore, the Isles.
Standing stones at dusk.

We are choosing between a handful of exclusive-use houses in the Highlands and the Islands, each one taken over completely for the gathering. The shortlist includes a house on the Ross of Mull with the holy island of Iona a ten minute ferry across the water, a thatched blackhouse village on the Atlantic cliffs of Lewis within sight of standing stones older than the pyramids, a lodge under the mountains of the Cairngorms, and a house on Skye beneath the marble peak of Blaven.

Wherever we land, three things are fixed: the whole place is ours, there is a real fire to sit around, and the ground itself is part of the teaching. There will be a day out on the land, to a battlefield, a stone circle or a harbour that carries the history we are learning.

Old stone, modern comfort. The circle, set around the fire.
One long table. Everybody eats together.
Rooms kept simple, clean and quiet.

Castle walls on the outside, and something calm and contemporary within. We are not asking anyone to sleep in a draughty museum. Think exposed stone and a real fire, paired with clean lines, good beds, proper heating and space to breathe: regal, but modern, and unfussy.

Firelight, every evening.

What is included

Exclusive use of the house for four nights. All meals, cooked for us, eaten together. The full teaching programme, men's and women's circles, and the evening fires. The land day and its travel. Childcare during the adult sessions, held by vetted, DBS-checked helpers. Everything except your travel to Scotland.

The scenes on this page illustrate the character of the gathering rather than a booked address. The house is being confirmed now, and everyone who registers will be sent the actual property, with photographs, before a penny is asked for.

How It Works

Three circles, one family

The men and the women do their own work, at the same hours, and the family comes back together for everything else.

The men

Led by Daniel. Governing yourself before you govern anything else: the priest of the home, the discipline behind the calling, and the honest conversations men rarely get to have. If you cannot rule yourself, nothing downstream of you holds.

The women

Led by Jerelle. Sisterhood, formation and the recovery of what women carry: the circle work she has been building for years, done properly, on land that holds it. Women who arrive as strangers do not leave as strangers.

The children

Held, not parked. Vetted, enhanced DBS-checked helpers run a real programme while the adults are in session: the beach, the hills, the stories and the history at their level. Parents can finally do the work without choosing between it and their children.

Children are part of the daytime life of the gathering, and never part of the adult evening sessions. Our safeguarding lead is named to every family before arrival, and every helper working with children is checked.

The Shape of It

Four days

Day one

Arrive through the afternoon. The fire is already lit. We open with a circle before the first meal together, and nothing else is asked of you.

Day two

Morning practice, then the first teaching: who we are and why we came. The afternoon is yours, on the shore or the hill. Fire, song and testimony in the evening.

Day three

The land day. Out to the ground that carries the history, with the records in hand. Home late, full, and early to bed.

Day four

The deeper work: men's and women's circles running side by side through the morning. Free afternoon, cold water for the brave. In the evening, the fire and the covenant.

Day five

A short closing circle at first light, the sending, and home by evening carrying something you did not arrive with.

The Tribe

How we find each other

This gathering does not advertise for strangers. It is drawn from Sovereign House, the app we built for exactly this work: men governing themselves, women in their own formation, and marriages being knitted back together, day by day, wherever in the world they happen to live.

The app gathers the scattered. The land gathers them together. Members hear about each gathering first and are offered places before anyone else, and everyone who comes goes home into the same daily rhythm, so that four days in Scotland becomes a year of walking it out rather than a weekend that fades.

If you are not inside Sovereign House yet, that is the first door, and it is the honest way to find out whether this is your tribe before you ever book a ferry.

The Investment

What it costs

Per family, four nights
£2,400
Two adults and up to two children. All accommodation, all meals, the full programme, the land day and childcare included. Your travel to Scotland is not included.

Coming alone

Single places are available at £1,250 for the four nights, everything included. Women can come to Jerelle's circle and men to Daniel's without bringing the whole household.

How it is paid

A deposit secures the place, with the balance due sixty days before we travel. Payment plans are available and every penny is held in a protected client account until the gathering runs.

Prices are held at launch rates for the first gathering. Places are limited by the size of the house, which is the honest reason they run out rather than a sales tactic.

The Call

Come home

Tell us you are interested and we will send you the dates, the house and the full programme the moment they are confirmed. No payment is taken at this stage.

We will only ever contact you about the gathering.
